Why Kickstarter?

Kickstarter is scary, especially for the people backing the creator. But it is a great way to get a cool project that you believe in off the ground and turn that idea into a physical product.

When we do eventually get there, we promise to streamline the process for our backers. We plan to issue regular updates on our campaign and even more updates on our social media platforms!

  • The biggest thing for us is to build a community of like-minded people who care about form along with the function of the products they purchase. We also want to start building rapport with our potential customers and be able to connect with them on a smaller scale to keep that personal touch that we would like to retain.

  • We are more than confident in our product but recognize that Nautilus is hitting a niche. We would like to show Nautilus and its possibilities to gather a measurable amount of interest.

  • It’s very expensive to get a product manufactured, especially one with this level of complexity. There are more than 10 unique parts that we will need to have manufactured. If we go down the injection-molded route, that is 10 unique molds! Molds are EXPENSIVE!!!
