What is Loftus Co?
We are imaginative people, constantly thinking of cool ideas. We eventually asked ourselves, “Why doesn’t that exist?”
That is Loftus Co! A platform for us to turn our ideas into real products.
We are active in the more adventurous side of life - boating, overlanding, general aviation, and all things in between. We will be focusing on the ideas that take those activities and make them that much more enjoyable.

Daniel Loftus
Co-Founder & CTO
Hi, I’m Daniel, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Loftus Co. Raised in Northeast Ohio and went to Kent State University where I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science. I then went on to do software development for a couple of companies in the area.
I have always been a maker at heart. Woodworking, leathercraft, graphic design, and 3D printing are some of my favorite outlets. I slowly taught myself to 3D Model so I could build out some cool personal projects.
My brother and I never stop thinking of the “Oh that’d be cool” ideas and with our broad range of knowledge thought, we should do something with these ideas, leading to Loftus Co!
Tim Loftus
Co-Founder & COO
Hey, I’m Tim, co-founder and COO of LoftusCo. I’ve been a Northeastern Ohioan for most of my life, taking advantage of what Ohio has to offer. I attended Kent State University where I received a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting with a concentration in assurance services. After school, I spent some time within the audit department for a large public accounting firm, and currently, I am trying my hand at internal audit for a fortune 500 company in the Cleveland area.
I have always had an affinity for anything related to the outdoors. I love to snowboard, hike, mountain bike, and camp whenever I get the opportunity. In addition, I love anything with an engine and am currently preparing to join an endurance auto racing team with a few friends.
I have a general knack for business and enjoy brainstorming with my brother on how we can make the industries we both enjoy better through our ideas. We both share the same desire to make what we love a full-time job, and from that desire, LoftusCo was born. We can’t wait to see where our ideas take us, and we hope you will come along for the ride as we work to make our dream a reality!
